Details
Les Etables sleeps up to 8 is a very well featured gite with a rustic charm.
During the renovations a WW2 rifle was found hidden in the gable end wall.
There are three bedrooms and two showers and toilets. The gite is converted from a horse stable and some of the original woodwork has been retained and used as the frame for the downstairs four-poster bed.
It has a conservatory overlooking its own secluded garden with BBQ. This gite was recently re-roofed and all the interior updated. The gite can comfortably sleep 8 people. It includes an English sat TV, microwave, a stainless steel 5 gas burner cooker with large oven, fridge/freezer and wood burner stove in the lounge and has radiators in every room. It can interconnect with Maison Crock to sleep 16.
Testimonials
Our first holiday here was in 1996, when we stayed with our 3 children and my parents. From the very first time, we have received nothing but the warmest of welcomes from owners who do their very best to help you make the most of your holiday. Since then, we have returned every year as we just didn’t want to go anywhere else. The children loved it there and the gites were suitable for my parents as they became more elderly and disabled. The gites are always clean, comfortable and well supplied with equipment, games and books. The atmosphere is relaxed, with numerous walks just outside the entrance, a beach about a mile away and Plestin has a large market every Sunday. The site is a rural idyll, with all the character of a French country gite, not cosmopolitan central Paris, so please don’t expect cold, stark, penthouse accommodation. I love it there and will be back next year!
