Coat Aillis is an ideal base for hikers as the GR34 passes within a 100m of the entrance, as it follows the coastline of Brittany.
There is a small mountain bike trail (plestin VTT Map) to Plestin and Toul Hery and it takes around 2 hours. It is mostly all little tracks and fields it passes our entrance so is easy to join.
There are half a dozen tracks from Coat Aillis to the sea front some official but the more interesting are “hors piste ” for keen walkers at 4.00 we take our 2 dogs for a walk so follow the guides.
Plestin tourist board have this year issued a guide with 7 circular walks in the Plestin canton ranging from 1-2hours and 2 of them pass next to Coat Aillis on the “green ” lane.
Or you can just chill out in our eco- corner where we have our hens in a compound released to roam each day and shut up at night to protect against foxes. A tunnel growing tomatoes, peppers, chillies and cucumbers and the outdoor garden full of summer produce. Also we are keen on composting all kitchen waste mixed with grass cuttings which produces next years compost.
